## The Challenge
* **Trusted parties eventually corrupt:** Trust centralises, eventually leads to monopoly pricing, censorship, inefficiency and stagnation.
* **Barriers to entry centralise**: Similarly, any barriers to entry (technical complexity, brand and exclusive partnerships and network effects), centralise – leading again to monopoly pricing and censorship.
* **Flawed markets make trading complex**: Time or price priority have haunted markets for decades – and defi has not innovated much on those issues.

## The Vision
Build financial infrastructure that's open, trustless and efficient. To get there – we will disintermediate, decentralise and remove trust from the current defi trade supply chain. As well as fix entrenched design flaws in exchanges.
To create a trustless trade supply chain, we work to
* Make the complex simple.
* Make the trusted trustless, and
* Rethink exchange structures from first principles.
